The day the Canon IPF 500 arrived it sat on a desk for sometime due to some very tricky inks not included, at least the right levels anyway. A not so large format printer that can do a lot given the right kind of mind and creativity, and perfect match for Peg Design. In order to test the IPF, i decided to grab the art of
Mark Ryden, an artist featured on the current issue of
Juxtopoz I had sitting on my desk. The Art was literally drag and drop from his page and re-sampled to fit the new size of 13x19 (A3+) from a 72ppi image.
I set up new colour overlays or the full colour spectrum and decided on Violet to match the new parlour wall I began.

The prints turned out amazing and the next thing was to find or create a frame to suit the wall and the image. Well no sooner then the hunt begun then did My lovely partner in creative crimes found on the wall of Gino, a man who left for Belgium and wanted us to take up as much of his belongings as we could, at a reasonable cost;)

So here we have now a colourful yet soft and classy art print to display what a mere drag and drop 72ppi image can be upgraded to and quality test for principle small production fine art form the IPF 500.
